The world of rosé wine is a vast and beautiful one. Rosé wine is a refreshing and light drink that can be enjoyed any time of the year. The flavors can range from fruity to nutty, to earthy and crisp, all depending on the grape varietals used in its production.

Rosés are perfect for those who want something light and refreshing for summertime. It’s also important to note that rosé wines come in many different styles — from dry to sparkling — so there’s sure to be one out there for everyone!

We promise you’ll love it. The world of rosé wine awaits you!

What is a Rosé Wine?

Rosés are made from red or white grapes, but they tend to be lighter in color than both their red and white counterparts. White wines tend to have an orange hue while red wines range from pinkish-red to dark purple. The lightness of the wine comes from its fermentation process where the grape juice is left on its skins for a shorter period of time so that it doesn’t take as long for sugar levels to decrease. This encourages a fresh fruitier flavor with less tannins which make for a more refreshing drink!

Types of Rosé Wine

  • Provence Rosé — These are often called pale pink wines that are dry, minerally, and delicately fruity.
  • Grenache Rosé — It is made using Grenache grapes. Grenache Rose has bright acidity, mild citrus notes with aromas of tropical fruit and white peach, and a smooth, elegant finish.
  • Sangiovese Rosé — It is made from the classic Italian variety Sangiovese. This light, bright and dry Rosé leaps from the glass with pretty floral and berry aromatics.
  • Zinfandel Rosé — It is made using Zinfandel grapes. Zinfandel Rose is best described as a fresh, fruity, and ripe wine that has intense notes of citrus, cranberry, and ripe stone fruits, with aromas of strawberries and cranberries.
  • Syrah Rosé — Syrah rose is deep in color and features notes of pepper, olive, and strawberry.
